BUSINESS:

• Nad needs to pay club dues, $15, and for his hats, $16, before he leaves. George paid $10, still owes $5

• Last months run was CAN Xed because of work.

• Matt and Chainsaw need stickers. Is there anyone else that the club owes a sticker to? (I know Dove wants another one.)

• The club has decided to adopt a family for X-mas. Matt is working on finding a family for a mission in Ogden. Any one with any ideas please step up. Kevin Winkie (388 AMMO) said he would spread the word on his side. The 388th is already doing a food drive so I don’t think he will be able to set up another one over there. I don’t know how to set up something like this. We need to get a POC for this, some one?

• There is a food drive (16 Nov 02) with the U4WDA starting at Liberty(?) Park in Salt Lake at 7 East and 12 South (or around there). There will be a group meeting at Wal-Mart parking lot at 8 am. You need to bring can goods/nonperishable. They are trying to get a large turn out of 4x4s. The bikers have Toys for Tots and that type of thing. The 4 wheelers want a large number of trucks out there.

• After the food drive there is a swap meet in Sandy. It is being put on by Rocky Mountain Extreme. It runs from 10 am to 4 pm and entry is free to sellers and buyers. It will be held at 861 East 10600 South. There will be a group of people that will be going down there after the food drive. See attachment.

• 23 Nov, there is the 4X4 show at Davis Applied Tech Center. It is sponsored by U4WDA. Big Horn will be there and we need to also to show our support. Big Horn is like our big brother. They helped us get started 3 years ago. We are always welcome on their runs and we invite them on ours. A group will be meeting a Wal-Mart parking lot. I’m not sure what time they will be leaving. The show is from 8 am to 2 pm. The POC for this is Todd Adams 466-0128 or Daynene Snyder 963-1913.

• The winter convention put on by the U4WDA is going to be on 25 Jan in Lehi. (5 Mile Pass) George says it is a good time with lots of different competitions to enter or just to watch. More to come on this. See attachment.

• Elections The nominations are(as of now):

  Prez – Mike and Pat
  Vice – Tobi and Chainsaw (see what happens when you’re not there)
  Secretary – Dove
  Treasurer – Matt
  Historian – George

  If there are any more nominations, send them out to everyone so that we can get a second on it. I will also take nominations before the elections at next month’s meeting.

• Dues are coming up in January

• Next meeting is on 10 Dec 02 at 1800 hrs. Meeting place is Mike’s house. His address is 3165 A Congress (on base). Let’s ALL make this meeting. We are voting at this meeting, make your vote count. You have plenty of advanced notice mark it on your calendar.
